    What is couples therapy?

Couples therapy is a collaborative process where partners work with a trained therapist to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional connection.

Family therapy is a collaborative approach that helps family members improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships by exploring patterns, roles, and dynamics within the family system.

If you feel stuck in recurring patterns, struggle with communication, experience trust issues, or want to deepen your connection, couples therapy can provide guidance and support.

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, the complexity of issues, and progress in sessions. Some families/couples/individuals see improvement in a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support.

Ideally, both partners attend sessions to ensure shared understanding and collaborative growth. In certain circumstances, individual sessions can also support the therapy process.

Sessions provide a safe space to share perspectives, explore patterns, practice new communication skills, and develop strategies for stronger connection and problem-solving.

Family therapy can involve parents, children, siblings, or extended family members who are navigating challenges, transitions, or relationship struggles. The first session usually includes all members of the family to understand the family dynamics.

Family therapy is helpful for addressing conflicts, parenting challenges, communication difficulties, behavioral concerns, and generational patterns that impact the family’s functioning.

The clinic requires at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the full session fee.

Absolutely! Feeling nervous, unsure, or even a little anxious before your first session is completely normal. Many clients feel this way. Therapy is a safe space, and your therapist will guide you gently, helping you feel comfortable as you begin your journey of self-exploration and healing.
